Science Olympiad is a team-based academic competition that challenges students to apply their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a variety of events. Some events are hands-on building challenges, while others are knowledge-based tests or lab experiments. Students learn critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, time management, and applied STEM skills. Students will work together in a team setup at the Regional tournament held in February.
For 2026 subject list, please visit Science Olympiad- https://www.soinc.
Students are advised to select at least 3 events (but not more than 1 from the same group). Parent coaches will schedule online/in-person weekly study sessions. Schedule will be determined after study groups are formed and depends on coaches availability.
